Coolest cars for under 16k?

Q: Hey guys, let me start off my by saying I am truly privelaged that my parents are letting me get a car for my 17th birthday coming up for 15,000, I have a 1000 in the bank so I have 16,000 to spend. It has to have atleast below 60,000 miles

I was originally planning on getting an 08' Nissan Titan that I found on autotrader and it was well recieved by some of my friends and criticized by some as well.

The other friends suggest I get something more sporty and fast but I was thinking that there aren't too many fast cool looking cars that are under 16 grand.

Do you guys have any recommendations?
