New throwout bearing noise?

Q: 1994 civic ex ok just put in new clutch,throwout bearing and flywheel old throwout bearing was bad but new one is making the same noise does it just need to be broken in or is it a defect?

A: You might have a bad input shaft bearing. Press the clutch in and if the noise goes away it's the input shaft bearings. They are not too complicated to replace and they're pretty cheap. Less than 50$ over the counter at your Honda dealer. It's not impossible to have a brand new throwout bearing be bad but highly improbable. Check the warranty on your part if that truly is the case.
