Q: The actual date please, don't just say 2012 =P.

A: My local Honda dealer already has 2012 motorcycles here in North America. They can reach dealers as early as August or September the year before. Perhaps answers to your question depend on the country in which you live.
Dealers are not required to buy new models. For example, if my dealer still has four 2011 Ruckus scooters sitting on his show room floor, he doesn't want any 2012s because that would make selling his left over stock even more difficult.
On top of all of that, Honda gets to decide how many bikes they are going to import to North America. A few years ago, Suzuki announced that it was going to import no 2010 motorcycles to North America because dealers still had plenty of 2009 models left to sell.
You should have a conversation with your local dealer about his inventory. No one will know better than he.
